We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Solicitor from Associate to Partner level to join our highly successful Corporate Commercial team in our Taunton or Exeter office. Our excellent team have a varied and interesting caseload with high quality clients. You will undertake fee-earning work on both corporate and commercial client matters, assisting with the current workload whilst playing a key role in developing and expanding the departments’ client base. You will also assist with managing and developing the team, including assisting with effective supervision of and delegation to team members.
In addition to your corporate commercial expertise, we are looking for a team player who values every member of the team and wider firm and their contribution to the success of Porter Dodson. Joining our reputable Corporate Commercial department, this role would best suit someone who is ambitious, pro-active, and enthusiastic, with great interpersonal skills. You will have strong corporate experience (both transactional and general) and have good commercial contracts experience, including general contracts, supply, distribution and franchise agreements, and terms and conditions.
The right candidate will have excellent corporate and commercial experience with business development and networking skills to match, a growth mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture is a must.
