We are partnering with a prestigious international organization to recruit a Head of Operational Finance for their Basingstoke operations. This role is pivotal in overseeing and advancing the financial reporting, controls, transformation, and operational processes on a global scale.

As the Head of Operational Finance, you will lead the strategic financial operations, ensuring optimal performance of the global finance function. You will oversee a talented team and actively contribute to senior leadership discussions, focusing on enhancing systems, processes, and commercial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and enhance the global financial reporting, controls, and transformation initiatives, spanning across Financial Shared Services, including P2P, O2C, Intercompany, Capital Accounting, Cash, R2R, and Payroll.
  • Define and implement a strategic vision for the Finance Hub, aligning service delivery with business objectives and promoting best practices in financial management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and achieve operational excellence in finance.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring effective collaboration and transparency in financial operations.
  • Ensure rigorous financial control and compliance standards, preparing for audits and establishing robust governance frameworks.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning within the function.
  • Monitor and report on KPI and SLA performance, leveraging data insights to identify opportunities for operational enhancement.
  • Lead end-to-end ownership of finance transformation initiatives and readiness for change across the organization.
  • Manage budgeting and financial planning for the global finance function, ensuring efficient and sustainable cost management.
  • Represent the Finance Hub at senior leadership levels, driving visibility, influence, and strategic value across the organization.
