Head of Credit Risk- Mortgages

Short term contract role- 1 Month

£700-£800 per day

Our Client is on the search for an Interim Head of Credit Risk with strong mortgages experience. This will be a short term contract role with an immediate start.

Key Requirements:

• A career history of working within mortgages
• Demonstrable practical experience of managing credit risk through the credit life cycle.
• Experience of expert and judgmental lending approaches as well as portfolio/modelled approaches to managing credit risk.
• Experience developing, implementing and effective embedding of all aspects of risk management frameworks and working collaboratively with partners in other parts of the organisation or external partners.
• Experience in developing and integrating enhanced management information capabilities within oversight and decisioning.
• Experience with the regulatory environment relating to credit risk together with sound understanding of the UK banking/financial services market trends and up-coming regulatory changes.
• Experience of leading business-as-usual continuous improvements.
• Prior experience of presenting to Board / Non-executive directors or regulators
• Experience promoting a positive risk culture within a business, function and team.
