Summary

Were looking for a hands-on, experienced Projects Manager to lead the delivery of small to medium-sized refurbishment projects, typically up to £1 million in value. This is a site-based role, ideal for someone who thrives on taking ownership from early client brief and design through to final handover.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Deliver refurbishment and projects across public sector, and educational buildings.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from design coordination and pricing through to completion and handover.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and designers to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with direct labour teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery.
• Oversee schedules, site logistics, and health & safety compliance.
• Ensure all works meet company quality standards and client expectations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings (CAD experience advantageous).
• Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Strong technical background in construction (hands-on experience ideal).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills confident dealing with clients and teams.
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).

Desirable:

• A high-level qualification or degree in Construction Management or a related field.
