With a portfolio of operational hydroelectric sites and a history of delivering reliable energy solutions, the company offers a varied role involving servicing, fault-finding, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Candidates should be practical, self-motivated, and team-oriented, prepared to travel, familiar with both Electrical and Mechanical engineering works and have a full clean Drivers licence.

Job Overview

  • Undertaking a range of Engineering works at a number of small Hydroelectric power plants across the UK
  • Servicing, fault finding and diagnosis
  • Repair and replacement of Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic components
  • Occasional equipment installation and project upgrades
  • Occasional General grounds maintenance work

Job Requirements

  • Qualified to level 3 or higher in Electrical Engineering
  • Previous experience in Electrical maintenance, repair and service works
  • Hands on Mechanical Engineering experience
  • Existing knowledge of Hydropower systems or Turbines would be highly advantageous
  • Prepared to travel with the role (Predominantly across Derbyshire, Yorkshire and North Wales)
  • Must be able to Swim
  • Full UK Drivers licence

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
  • 33 Days holiday inclusive of public holidays
  • Monday - Friday, 40-hour work week
  • 1 In 6 on call rota
