The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
Our client within the public sector requires a proven Senior Procurement Manager with extensive full procurement life cycle and open contract tender experience.
Experience in running/leading open procurements in a regulated environment with a strong understanding of the benefits delivered through best practice.
- Strong working knowledge of public sector procurement principles and legislation including both PCR2015 and a full understanding of Procurement Act 23 (PA23).
- Experience in producing or advising on business cases (OBC, FBC) to inform stakeholders in the business accordingly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in delivering commercial advice to senior leaders.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word, Teams and Excel.
- Good understanding and practical knowledge of risk management and appropriate risk mitigation techniques when managing procurements.
