The Clockspire, originally built by Sir William Medlycott in 1864 as a school, has been brought back to its former glory creating a warm and welcoming restaurant. Set by the quaint Somerset village of Millborne Port, the restaurant offers a memorable experience from a spectacular view by the large windows and lofted ceilings with statement chandeliers to seasonal and locally foraged exceptional dishes along with carefully selected wines.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join the team.

About the Chef de Partie role:
  • Food preparation, stock rotation and food labelling
  • General cleaning duties
  • Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are maintained at all times
  • Contribute to the development and planning of new products, menus, and promotions to enhance customer experience
  • Carry out the smooth and efficient running of your section as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Chef de Partie within a fast-paced, high volume kitchen.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a CDP
  • Proficiency in diverse cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Leaving Cert level education or above
  • NVQ qualification or equivalent
  • Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
  • Flair and innovative with menus and food presentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
