As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer your responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out reactive maintenance and PPM's.
  • Using both your electrical and mechanical skill set.
  • Diagnosing faults to find the root cause of breakdowns.
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects on site.
  • Working efficiently with the production team to minimise downtime.

The qualifications & skills required to become a Maintenance Engineer:

  • A minimum of a level 3 maintenance engineer (electrical bias) C&G NVQ, BTEC
  • Understanding of SCADA control systems.
  • PLC fault finding experience would be an advantage
  • Multi-skilled with an electrical bias.
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG.
