Duties & Responsibilities
- Expertise: Proven track record of navigating a clientsβ end-to-end Digital Transformation program from strategy, phantomization, cloud migration, modernization, and optimization.
- Creating: Supporting strategies, governance, adoption roadmaps, and operating models to support Digital Transformation programs.
- Developing: Business cases, TCO, and ROI models to support Digital Transformation programs.
- Trusted Advisor: For key stakeholders in the client (CIO, CTO, lead EA) to create and identify opportunities.
- Savvy: Proven track record of working with broader teams (CoEs, Sales, practice teams, delivery teams) to shape, develop, and convert opportunities into large and profitable projects and programs.
- Problem-Solving: Adapt to evolving business landscapes and emerging technologies, coupled with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
- Leadership: Act as a thought leader for clients in pre-sales and sales in client discussions including tech days, Executive briefing sessions, strategic workshops, etc.
- Building Patterns: Leading the building of, and contribution to, repeatable digital technology patterns and artifacts such as industry-specific reference architectures and API/Integration patterns and Microservices archetypes.
Required Skills
- More than 10+ years of Digital technologies and IT experience.
- Experience delivering large-scale Digital Transformation programs and projects in complex enterprise environments.
- Operating for 3 years in a similar client-facing role, driving opportunities, revenue, and delivery, engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Industry knowledge in any one of the following industries (Banking, Retail, Manufacturing, Health Care, Life Sciences).
- Deep familiarity and experience at one of the leading EA frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF, ArchiMate, and Gartner EA.
- Deep understanding of Digital Transformation strategies and solutions enabled by any of the three major public clouds AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Deep expertise in application modernization and Microservices.
- Extensive experience in platform technologies, specifically Salesforce, SAP and ServiceNow.
- Versed with Hybrid Cloud security solutions, including Cloud-native security.
- Experience in conducting Cloud assessments and migration approaches and methodologies, as well as Cloud design patterns including Landing zones.
- Understanding of Cloud-native capabilities such as Kubernetes, Docker, etc., cloud native platforms such as OpenShift, Pivotal and EAI/Middleware stacks.
- Understanding of Cloud service management/Operating models.
- Understanding of Data infrastructure solutions such as Hyper converged, Virtualization, Storage, SD WAN.
Preferred Competencies & Experience
- An extensive experience and recent proven track record of success in IT Consulting or IT Management Consulting with regional or global consulting firms (Big 4, SIs or boutiques) with delivery and business development success and growth.
- An established history combining consulting, sales, and delivery; experience delivering workshops, assessments, strategies, roadmaps, designs, and deployment plans.
- A demonstrated record of creating & executing digital/technology-orientated client transformation programs to drive strategies, optimization, and modernization.
- A track record of developing and expanding client relationships with executive focus, to present strategic content and drive transformation across a broad range of stakeholders (executive, tech, etc.).
- Shape large complex, multi-competency deals across the Softserve portfolio of practices (e.g., Cloud, Platforms, AI, Strategy, Custom Application Development, Network & Edge, Security, Resiliency, etc.).
- Articulate the vision for modern engineering (e.g., agile, cloud-native, DevOps) and operations (e.g., observability, automated response, SRE, etc.) and able to articulate a path toward a target operating model (people, process, and tools).
