Premier Recruit are currently recruiting for 2 X HGV2 (Cat C) Driver / Drainage Operatives to work the day shift on a Temp to Perm basis for a Drainage Contractor based in Kidlington, and working in conjunction with Thames Water. We can offer an almost immediate start to the right candidates.
You will be working as part of a 2 or 3 person team unblocking drains outside properties and on the public highway. This is dirty and physical work but will be a secure position working on behalf of a National Utilities Company so there is job security. Newly passed Class 2 drivers are most welcome to apply.
Please Note, the first 2 days training for this job will be held at the training centre which is based in Slough, before you apply for this role can you please ensure that you are ok to travel to this location. The training is fully paid. All Personal Protective Equipment will be provided including Jackets, Trousers, Hard Hat and Boots.
The shift pattern is: Working on a 4 on 4 off rota. 12 Hour Working Shifts, this will be paid at £14.00 - £21 per hour (overtime). This pay will increase once the first 12 weeks are completed.
Requirements:
- A can do attitude and are not afraid of physical work.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- A Full UK Cat C Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- A Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- A Valid CPC Card.
