London (Hybrid) – This is a great opportunity to join a well-funded company at the start of something great, who design sensors that are revolutionising the health domain. They already have a product to market and are now looking to keep developing their product range. They are looking for a problem solver with strong Electronics Hardware experience who can develop the hardware for new prototypes and ideally has experience within IoT protocols like LoraWAN, Zigbee etc.
Main Duties:
- Work on the hardware and sensor integration of the products including selecting, evaluating, and integrating the sensors
- Collaborate with external engineers to refine PCB layouts and ensure optimal sensor performance and placement
- Design and test electronic circuits for prototypes
- Drive rapid hardware project cycles and support DFM (design for manufacturing) decisions
Skills Needed:
- Strong Electronics design experience, having led projects from start to finish
- Experience integrating sensors to hardware
- Experience with PCB design and layout
Advantageous Skills:
- Experience with Embedded Firmware development in C/C++
- Experience with IoT protocols (eg. LoraWAN, Zigbee, BLE)
Further Information: This role will be hybrid and you will be expected to come into the office 2-3 days a week. This client has already gone through Seed funding and is on track for Series A funding next year so are well funded. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to help shape the in-house engineering capabilities of a business and grow within a company.
