AJ Physio are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physiotherapist to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of clinical anatomy and musculoskeletal pathophysiology, with experience in a private MSK practice setting. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, treating and rehabilitating patients to improve their physical function and quality of life. The Physiotherapist will work closely with patients of all ages and backgrounds, including paediatrics, as well as care in the elderly and athletes in sub-elite and elite sport. You will be required to grow and manage a busy caseload of patients. We are looking for an individual with passion and initiative that wants to develop alongside a modern and forward thinking organisation. The successful candidate will have goals and aspirations that are aligned with the company and has the work ethic to push themselves to learn and develop, with ultimate outcomes being self growth from both a clinical and business perspective.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient assessments using bespoke app (MoveHealth).
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-management strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with medical standards.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in physiotherapy practices.
Essential Requirements
- A recognised Bachelors/Masters degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
- HCPC and CSP registration.
- Experience working in private practice setting.
- Skilled in Manual Therapy and Rehabilitation/Strength and Conditioning.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid UK Driver's License.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in sub-elite/elite sport or interest to pursue exposure.
- Additional qualifications: Dry needling/acupuncture, Strength and conditioning/rehabilitation, Sports Trauma (minimum level 2).
- Experience with biomechanical assessments/desire to upskill.
