Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students in both small groups and 1:1 settings, helping them with their academic progress and personal development. You will play a key role in creating an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere.

Contract/Position Details

• Location - Various locations across Carmarthenshire
• Type of work - Teaching Assistant - day to day and long term cover in various schools
• Start date - ASAP
• Duration / Likely Duration - Day to day bookings, with the potential for extension depending on schools
• Contract type - Temporary
• Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on schools needs
• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £87.90 per day
• Hours - 8:45 am - 3:20pm (full day), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school or educational setting (though not essential).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
