CloudScope are hiring a Field Engineer on behalf of an MSP near Lowestoft. This is a field-based role, so you’ll be out and about visiting clients across the region, providing high-quality onsite IT support, installations, and project delivery. If you enjoy variety, autonomy, and being the go-to expert on the ground — this one’s for you.
The Role:
- Supporting a diverse client portfolio of 300+ businesses across East Anglia
- Attending client sites to resolve 2nd line technical issues
- Installing PCs, network hardware, routers, switches, and printers
- Troubleshooting Windows and Office 365 environments
- Assisting with server installations and migrations
- Collaborating with the helpdesk team and escalating complex issues when needed
- Involvement in IT projects such as office moves, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migrations
The Candidate:
- 3+ years’ experience in IT Support, ideally in a client-facing or MSP environment
- Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, O365, and network troubleshooting
- Experience with servers, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and Active Directory
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Able to work independently and manage your own schedule
Desirable:
- Microsoft certifications (MCP, MCSA, etc.)
- Experience working for a Managed Service Provider
- Exposure to VoIP, cloud platforms (Azure), or backup solutions
