As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join their close-knit team.
Package
Up to £50,000 basic salary + package
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD and SketchUp Pro.
- Produce accurate planning, building regulation, and construction drawing packages.
- Liaise with local authorities to support and submit planning applications and ensure successful outcomes.
- Interpret architectural designs and convert them into technical documentation for site teams and contractors.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, surveyors, and consultants as required.
- Conduct site visits to gather data, monitor progress, and resolve design-related issues.
- Ensure all designs comply with UK building regulations and planning policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential architecture, particularly new builds, refurbishments, and extensions.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp Pro.
- Strong understanding of UK planning procedures and building regulations.
- Experience liaising with local planning authorities and managing applications through to approval.
