We are looking for a Senior Estimator to join a well-respected company in their Southampton office. This is a busy role where you will be working within a team and will be responsible for the smooth running of bids as well as quotes and estimates. This role would suit someone with previous experience in a similar role who is experienced with marine-based contracts and is experienced liaising with subcontractors to gain competitive quotes. The company offers a professional yet relaxed working environment and really values their staff.

This is a busy and varied role where you will be responsible for providing a first-class service. You will be managing the tender process, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders and will be responsible for pulling together estimates for large marine construction projects in order to win the business. Detailed methodologies and clarification will be vital in order to do this.

In order to be considered for this role you will need to have previous experience within a similar role working on marine-based projects. Knowledge of different types of contracts is really important as well as exceptional communication, relationship building and organisation skills. It is vital that you can work to deadlines and have a good level of computer literacy.
