We are thrilled to announce an exceptional opportunity for the role of General Manager Acute Floor within the Medicine Division at University Sussex Hospitals. These dynamic position, covers Worthing Hospital, is perfect for an existing General Manager or an aspiring Operational Manager looking to advance their career. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Emergency Department and Acute Medicine services within the Acute Floor. They must effectively engage and collaborate with other Trust General Managers to manage unscheduled demand across both hospitals. In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of Divisional and Trust service strategies and objectives, with a particular focus on delivering performance standards, service improvements, and efficiencies. Your efforts will enhance patient care and improve patient pathways within the Acute Floor, driving excellence in our premier hospitals.
