About the Role:

  • As a Technical Business Development Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive growth and secure new clients in emerging markets.
  • This role offers a dynamic environment where you’ll be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, working to develop a strong market presence and increase revenue.
  • Build and develop new customer relationships in assigned sales verticals.
  • Regular client visits to understand needs and secure alignment with solutions.
  • Accurately forecast and report on your sales pipeline and results.
  • Identify new markets and expand cross-functional opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Over time, develop networks with customers to inform future product development.

About You:

  • You’re a results-oriented, proactive individual with a talent for sales in Oil & Gas Solutions.
  • You’re driven, highly organised, and excel in building strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in technical sales, ideally with innovative or disruptive technology.
  • Recent experience working for a smaller business or start-up.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a "hunter" mindset.
  • Background of selling into Oil & Gas.
  • Highly motivated and comfortable with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and ease working across internal teams.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and CRM software (HubSpot preferred).
  • Knowledge of the water/environmental industry is a bonus but not essential.

Package:

  • Base salary: £60,000-£65,000.
  • First-year OTE: £100,000 (uncapped).
  • Second-year OTE: up to £140,000.
  • Fully remote, with occasional visits to the UK office (1-2 times a month).
