OUTSIDE IR35 Electronics Design Engineering Opportunity offering a skilled electronics professional to take on a long term contract role involving supporting the development of custom bespoke power supplies via designing analogue circuits. The company is based in West Birmingham and is a hands-on opportunity with a specialised market leading company, offering flexible working arrangements and the chance to collaborate remotely with experienced design engineers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing basic analogue circuits
- Assembling and testing PCBs (SMD and through-hole components)
- Testing the Design of HV power supplies
- Interpreting circuit drawings and overseeing the full build process
- Recording manufacturing and testing histories for new designs
- Procuring suppliers and parts as needed for development work
- Transformer winding (support provided where needed)
We’re ideally looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in the electronics industry, preferably with a degree or equivalent in a relevant field. UK citizenship and the ability to pass basic security checks (such as a DBS) are required.
