A 10-year-old, 50-strong independent commercial property services (construction, fit-out, and refurb) company with a strong set of values is looking for a writer to fuel their rebrand and repositioning.

This is the perfect time to join. The team has been working hard on their proposition, tone of voice, and messaging, and they want you to take the reins and launch it through all their communications.

Day-to-day, you will be writing for the new website, marketing collateral, thought leadership pieces, blogs, scripts, case studies, events, press releases, and social media. You will approach this all through a storytelling lens, creating engaging narratives. The company works on high-profile buildings and clients, offering plenty of interesting material to explore.

The owners have fostered a strong sense of opportunity and development, encouraging people to follow in their footsteps and providing chances for growth. The business has a flat structure with an 'all in it together' attitude.

You’ll be:

  • Very happy writing purely B2B content
  • Collaborating closely with the marketing manager on content planning and calendar management
  • Mentoring a junior writer to support your work and learn from you

You’ll have:

  • An organized portfolio with relevant, well-written B2B writing samples
  • At least 3 years of relevant or relatable writing experience.

The company values talent and appetite for growth over specific sector experience, which they believe can be learned within about six months with their support. While sector experience is not required, it is a plus. They will assist in helping you learn the industry language.
