For Companies TPF Recruitment is recruiting for an Accountancy Practice Tax Manager on behalf of a highly reputable and growing client based in Worthing. Our client is one of the most respected firms of chartered accountants in Sussex, boasting a fantastic reputation and an exciting client base within the entertainment sector, including actors, artists, sports professionals, bloggers, vloggers, and YouTubers. This role offers exposure to fascinating work servicing this prestigious client base.
Responsibilities include:
- Liaising and corresponding with HMRC regarding clearance applications and enquiries
- Drafting reports and letters of advice on various tax advisory issues
- Preparing calculations to support advice
- Liaising with clients and attending meetings with team members
- Training and reviewing the work of junior staff
- Supporting Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group
Examples of work you would assist with:
- Advice and implementation of corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs such as EIS/SEIS, and staff incentive schemes
- Advising owner-managed businesses on remuneration and succession planning
- Preparation of R&D claims, VAT returns, SDLT returns
- Advising individuals on IHT planning and CGT mitigation
- Reviewing corporate tax computations and returns
