Occupational Health Technician – Based in the Shrewsbury/Telford Area

Salary: £24,000 – £27,000

Contract: Full-Time | Permanent

Location: Shrewsbury/Telford area (with regular UK-wide travel and overnight stays required)

Our client is recruiting into roles whereby you will be an Occupational Health Technician, training on equipment will be provided. After completing a fully funded 4-week intensive training programme, you will deliver essential health screening services across the UK.

Your Role at a Glance:

  • Travel throughout the Telford/Shropshire area using a mobile medical unit (use of your own vehicle is required)
  • Conduct health assessments including audiometry, spirometry, lung function testing, and baseline measurements
  • Support a wide range of clients across various sectors
  • Be a key part of improving workplace wellbeing, meeting new people every day

What We’re Looking For:

  • A clinical or fitness-based background (e.g. ambulance services, personal training, sports science)
  • Previous experience of carrying out baseline measurements/screenings for height, weight, blood pressure, BMI and peak flow
  • A passion for health, wellbeing, and helping others
  • A full UK driving licence
  • A reliable, proactive attitude and willingness to commit to a full-time permanent role
  • Flexibility to travel and stay overnight (all expenses and accommodation fully covered)
