MERITUS are excited to be working with a large technology consultancy that delivers secure digital solutions into the Defence and wider Government sector. They're looking to bring on board an experienced Enterprise Security Architect to support a key MOD customer.
In this role, you'll play a central part in shaping and delivering enterprise-level security architecture across complex systems. You'll work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure that architecture aligns with the client's security requirements, risk posture, and operational goals.
The role is based in Andover with 2/3 days per week on-site & 2/3 days per week remote. The role requires candidates to hold active SC Security Clearance & be able to start ASAP.
Main Responsibilities:- Designing and maintaining enterprise security architecture for secure government systems
- Applying the SABSA framework to develop risk-driven security models
- Using architecture tools such as Sparx EA (or similar) to produce clear and accurate documentation
- Working with senior stakeholders to align security architecture with wider business and technical strategies
- Ensuring all designs comply with MOD security standards and governance processes
- Valid SC clearance (must be active and transferable)
- SABSA certified (Foundation level or above)
- Experience using Sparx EA or equivalent enterprise architecture tooling
- Strong background in enterprise architecture, ideally in secure or high-assurance environments
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage at all levels of an organisation
