Geotechnical Engineer

An exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer with our clients dynamic engineering firm. In this permanent role, you'll be a vital part of the Estimating and Design team, responsible for identifying new business opportunities by preparing design solutions, estimates, and tender proposals that meet our clients' needs. Your expertise in geotechnical, piling, and structural engineering will be instrumental in delivering innovative piling solutions that exceed our customers' expectations.

Preferred Requirements:

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Wallap, and OASYS (or similar)
• Expertise in interpreting architectural and engineering plans, blueprints, and specification drawings
• Ability to prepare geotechnical and structural designs for various piling systems
• Experience in conducting site inspections and liaising with clients to understand their needs
• Strong commercial acumen and financial analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• BA in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering (or equivalent relevant experience)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the heavy civil engineering sector
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with clients effectively
