We are a healthcare technology company that puts patients and clinical safety first. The clinical team consists of senior doctors, nurses and advanced physiotherapists who have experience across the NHS and private healthcare in the UK and further afield. As Clinical Governance Administrator, you will support the Head of Clinical Governance in all the business’s clinical safety functions. You will demonstrate attention to detail and a desire to link problems and concerns with solutions. You will understand and evolve, with help from the clinical team, clear processes which support the Company’s clinical complaints, incidents, and clinical quality functions. You will thrive in an environment of accountability, freedom of thought and rapid growth. - EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Has contributed to improving quality in a healthcare setting
- Experience of working within a team and of developing good working relationships with stakeholders
- Experience of collating data and displaying information
- Knowledge and/or experience of working in a clinical environment
- Can demonstrate self-motivation and an ability to take own initiative
- Management and organisation of senior team members
- Customer service skills with ability to handle difficult conversations with patients
- Understands what represents quality in healthcare
- Proficiency in creating reports for teams and team leaders
- Good communication skills with strong verbal and written communication to articulate issues and solutions effectively

Within this position, you will mainly be:
- Be the first point of contact for the Company’s clinical governance activities, supported by your line manager.
- Support the clinical governance, complaints and incident processes so that they run smoothly, including reviewing and prioritising key activities on a day-to-day basis.
- Work to resolve any problems which arise in relation to the management of incidents and complaints in conjunction with the Head of Clinical Governance.
- Encourage and support incident reporting across the business.
- Manage interactions with the clinical leads, ensuring the clinical leads’ time is used effectively and efficiently.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships across all levels of the organisation, including front-line staff, consultants and senior managers.
- Show a genuine desire to work with and support staff, understanding any problems they may be facing whilst also ensuring that concerns from within and external to the business are resolved.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on Clinical governance with the support of the Head of Clinical Governance.
- Track resolution of incidents and complaints within the agreed timeframes and ensuring we are able to evidence standards.
- Track improvements suggested and required of colleagues across the business to ensure clinical quality is improved.
- Help to ensure that contracted and employed medical staff are up to date with appraisal and revalidation.
- Help provide evidence to the company and to individuals of revalidation compliance.
