Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions for Level 1 and Level 2 plumbing courses.

• Develop and update course materials in line with curriculum requirements.

• Assess student progress through assignments and practical evaluations.

• Provide support and guidance to students, fostering their development.

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and achievements.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and participate in departmental activities.

Essential Criteria

• Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or a related field.

• Proven industry experience in plumbing.

• Possession of, or willingness to work towards, a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to motivate and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in teaching or training within a further education setting.

• Familiarity with current educational practices and assessment methods.

• Commitment to continuous professional development.
