Category Manager / eCommerce (DIY) | West Midlands | Full-Time, Permanent (Full time / 2 days in the office) | £55,000 – £70,000 w 5% Company Bonus & Performance based bonus of 10% About the Role Gleeson Recruitment are partnering with a well-known manufacturer seeking an experienced Category Manager specialising in eCommerce (retail) to join the DIY team. You’ll support the Consumer Director in developing strategies to enhance product offerings for consumers and channel partners. This role focuses on driving category growth, optimising e-commerce performance, and expanding partnerships. Key Responsibilities Category Management: Own and drive performance for top channel partners; manage multiple e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Wayfair). Strategy & Analysis: Develop category strategies based on market trends, customer data, and competitor analysis. E-Commerce Optimisation: Enhance product listings, navigation, and search engine visibility. Manage product information, pricing, and inventory. Data Insights: Leverage analytics for promotions, assortment planning, and sales trends. P&L Ownership: Drive sales, volume, and profitability targets. c 3.5m budget What You’ll Need 3+ years in Commercial Management, Category Management, or E-Commerce. Strong analytical skills, particularly in Excel and category management tools. Proven experience with e-commerce storefront optimisation and demand generation.
