We are currently seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Security Systems Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Systems Management: Manage the design, installation, and operation of comprehensive security mechanisms, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, anti-virus software, SIEM, and secrets management solutions to protect sensitive information.
- Threat Analysis and Intelligence: Utilize SIEM for monitoring security breaches or intrusions across environments, lead incident response and forensic analysis to identify and mitigate threats.
- Vulnerability Assessment and Management: Conduct assessments of network, infrastructure, and cloud services to identify vulnerabilities, overseeing the deployment of fixes, patches, and security improvements.
- Cloud Security: Design and implement secure architectures for cloud systems, ensuring adherence to best practices in cloud platforms such as AWS, including secure data storage and access controls.
- Security Policy and Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards. Execute security audits and compliance reviews.
- Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments to identify potential security threats, developing strategies to mitigate risks through security enhancements and process improvements.
- Secrets Management and PKI: Establish and maintain secure methods for managing secrets (API keys, credentials) and oversee the Public Key Infrastructure for managing digital certificates and encryption keys to ensure secure communications.
- Architectural Review: Evaluate the organization’s infrastructure and network architecture for security implications, recommending enhancements to strengthen security posture.
- Research and Development: Stay updated on new security trends, threats, technologies, and tools, particularly focusing on SIEM, cloud security, secrets management, and PKI solutions.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Serve as a security expert for IT projects and business units, advising on secure system architecture and best practices in security.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in information security, with a strong background in SIEM, cloud security, network architecture, risk assessment, secrets management, and PKI.
- Comprehensive understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and overall system security.
- Expertise in secure network, system, and application architecture design, particularly in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, SIEM, and secrets management systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with cloud security frameworks and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, coupled with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
