About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join my clients leading Private Client Team. We are seeking a highly skilled professional with 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) + to manage a complex and varied caseload, providing expert legal advice to high-net-worth individuals and families.
My client is a Top 100 Legal 500 firm based within the Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advising clients on wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, and tax matters.
• Handling high-value and complex estates, including international elements.
• Drafting wills, lasting powers of attorney, and trust documents.
• Managing probate applications and estate administration.
• Providing succession planning and asset protection advice.
• Collaborating with financial advisors and accountants to ensure comprehensive client service.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, including STEP best practices (if applicable).
• Mentoring junior solicitors and assisting in business development initiatives.
Skills & Experience Required:
• Strong technical expertise in estate planning, wills, probate, and trusts.
• Experience in taxation matters affecting estate planning.
• STEP qualification (or working towards it) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment.
• Strong business development acumen and ability to build lasting client relationships.
