Your opportunity:

  • Work with the Head of EMEA & LatAm Client Group and regional leads to develop and deliver the marketing strategy for the retail/wholesale and institutional business across the UK, EMEA, LatAm and US Offshore in line with overall sales and marketing objectives.
  • Oversee the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns to build brand, drive interest in our products and support sales and retention activity across each market segment.
  • Manage projects efficiently to agreed budget, identify risks, allocate and manage resources.
  • In conjunction with the Strategy and Analytics team, measure the effect of activity, attributing response and conversion where applicable, ensuring Janus Henderson can evolve its approach through good quality Management Information.
  • Work with Global Head of Brand, Creative & Digital to deliver content strategy for the combined region.
  • Responsible for the direction of UK/EMEA/LatAm/US Offshore promotional activities, collateral and web content.
  • In conjunction with Global Product Marketing, plan and produce marketing collateral to support all channels.
  • Project manage online and offline marketing requirements/activity.
  • Ensure familiarity with Janus Henderson’s financial promotions/literature principles and processes, with guidance from Compliance.
  • Ensure appropriate checks and sign off procedures are adhered to at all times.

Digital:

  • Work with Global Web team, direct marketing automation and webinar resources on the team to ensure digital dissemination channels are used effectively as part of the marketing mix.
  • Ensure websites are up to date and content is displayed efficiently – responsible for articulating requirements and needs for each country site and working with Product Marketing and the Global Marketing and Technology web teams to ensure that these requirements are met.
  • Use analytics on marketing automation and website engagement for future strategy.

Events:

  • Manage Event Managers to ensure regional events are planned and delivered in line with the events schedule, budget and brand guidelines.
  • Manage Event Professionals to meet the needs of UK/EMEA/LatAm/US Offshore retail/wholesale and institutional requirements.

Advertising:

  • Work with Global Brand, Creative & Digital Design to create and deliver online and offline advertising in line with channel marketing strategies.

Compliance:

  • Work in close collaboration with Compliance to ensure that all marketing material and content is suitably complied with local jurisdictional requirements.

Must have skills:

  • Significant marketing experience within the asset management industry, including direct contact with Sales and in-depth knowledge of the Sales process.
  • Broad marketing experience in fixed income, equity, multi-asset and liquid alternatives platforms.
  • Proven ability as a results-oriented leader (prior experience in a management role essential).
  • Ability to develop comprehensive marketing strategies that successfully drive business goals, with appropriate attention to detail.
  • Excellent planning and project management skills and proven experience of managing fully integrated cross channel marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting at senior management level.
  • Confident and decisive with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and a good level of networking skills (internal clients, stakeholders and peers, and external third parties).
  • Demonstrated people management skills and prior experience managing a team.

Nice to have skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of investment products and markets, and the competitive environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate extensive knowledge of UK, European and LatAm markets and business channels.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory framework across EMEA and LatAm, with particular focus on TCF, and FCA rules relating to financial promotions.
  • Proven experience of and ability to demonstrate strategic as well as practical marketing skills.
  • Significant financial marketing experience.
  • CIM Professional Diploma, marketing degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Degree educated.
  • IMC preferred.
