The Content Acquisition (CA) team is an integral part of the Data department. We are responsible for managing, acquiring, and integrating content and data from Exchanges, brokers, sell-side, buy-side, and other types of providers to drive the value of the Bloomberg Terminal and downstream enterprise products. We lead the governance, cost, and quality of the data we acquire, and we collaborate with the wider company to develop our data acquisition strategies ensuring we are aligning with the agendas of our key partners.

We will trust you to:

- Ensure the successful delivery of Exchange products to Bloomberg customers by meeting non-negotiable deadlines.
- Manage relationships and coordinate projects with customers and the Exchange, including calls/visits as needed.
- Prioritize projects and manage expectations to both our internal and external partners.
- Act as the subject matter specialist for the technologies Exchanges utilize to deliver data to vendors.
- Be the conduit between the Business and Engineering by interpreting business needs into project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Data Model (DM) team to ensure adherence to Bloomberg Data Model standards.
- Translate Exchange documentation and technical specifications into business deliverables for new exchange data on Bloomberg.
- Conduct testing both pre-production and post-release.
- Effectively run projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering to post-production release and stakeholder communication management.
- Function as the overall escalation point for any issues with exchange market data.
- Thrive on building innovative solutions to sophisticated problems.

- Experience working for an Exchange or in the Market Data industry.
- Strong research and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
