Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer required for a leading supplier of valves. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing new business opportunities and developing key accounts in target areas. You will be selling different types of valves into a range of industries, such as: pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and power generation.

The successful candidate will ideally be based in the North West, including Manchester, Blackburn, Huddersfield, Sheffield or Leeds and have a background in selling valves into a range of industries.

  • £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

Role:

  • Sourcing new business opportunities and developing current and dormant accounts.
  • Selling valves, such as control valves, actuated valves, and manual valves, into a range of industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, OEMs, machine builders, etc.
  • Work remotely / field-based, covering target areas.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Executive, or similar.
  • 2+ years' experience working within external sales roles.
  • Experience selling valves such as control valves, actuated valves, manual valves, or similar.
  • Experience selling into industries such as pharmaceutical, food & beverage, power generation, steam, or similar.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Working remotely.
