About the role:
We are seeking a talented Junior React Native Developer to join our client’s team. This role involves collaborating with their internal developers to build high-quality, mobile applications for iOS and Android devices using the Expo framework. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mobile app development and an interest in creating cutting-edge solutions in the telecommunications industry.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with their internal team to design and build robust mobile applications using React Native and the Expo framework.
- Ensure applications are responsive, scalable, and maintain a seamless user experience.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and solve regular mobile application UX issues.
- Contribute to code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Implement new features and functionalities based on designs, project requirements and stakeholder feedback.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to ensure technical feasibility, working from Figma designs.
- Document application changes and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Requirements/Desired Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing mobile applications using React Native.
- Understanding of the Expo framework and deployment processes for iOS and Android.
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, and familiar with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Experience with mobile app testing frameworks and tools.
- Strong understanding of mobile application architectures and design patterns.
- Familiarity with integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Compensation and benefits:
- Pay of £3,000-£3,500 p/m DOE.
