Hays are looking for a Maintenance Handyman to work for a large manufacturing and engineering company based on their site in Stockport.
Your new role
1.General Facilities based repairs such as Plumbing tasks, Door repairs, Flooring repairs, plastering, painting and Grounds-keeping.2.Manual handling of delivery and collection goods and materials.3.Comply with the Environmental, Health and Safety Policy and identify health and safety hazards prior to the commencement of work.4.Conduct daily duties in a highly professional manner.5.Maintain a clean and orderly work area as required.6.Assisting Site Maintenance Engineers with PPM\’s and Breakdowns when required.What you\’ll need to succeed
For this role you will need;
- Any of the building / facilities-based skills such as: Carpentry, Bricklaying, Plastering, Plumbing and Decorating
- Engaging.
- Good Listener.
- Proactive.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Self-starter.
