Blue Arrow have a great opportunity available for an experienced Line Leader for a well-established production company based in Bellshill. Monday - Friday 5.15am - 2.45pm £13.68 per hour.
The successful candidate's main duties and responsibilities include:
- Evaluating production plans and setting up the production line accordingly.
- Preparing work schedules and assigning workers production line tasks.
- Checking that all operations on the line are being carried out following specifications and standard working procedures.
- Optimizing production line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.
- Identifying and resolving production line problems promptly.
- Performing recordkeeping tasks, including line throughput, efficiencies, and order planning.
- Training and supervising new production line workers.
- Maintaining a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Providing routine progress updates and escalating areas of concern to the Production Manager.
- Undertaking training as instructed within Company training plans to develop skills applicable to specific functions.
- Adhering to the Company's Health and Safety policy and showing a diligent approach to safety matters within the factory areas.
The main requirements for this role are:
- Experience as a line leader is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of product manufacturing, specifications, production standards, and industry regulations.
- Experience in computers and office software.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
