Pump Engineer – Wastewater & Drainage Systems

📍 Field-based | Covering Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester, Birmingham area.

💰 £35,000 – £39,000 + Bonus + Benefits

🔧 The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pump Engineer to join a growing business specialising in wastewater treatment and drainage solutions. This is a varied and rewarding role covering the installation, maintenance, and repair of pump systems and treatment plants across residential and commercial properties.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Service and repair wastewater treatment plants and pump stations
• Install, commission, and maintain pumps, blowers, and associated systems
• Conduct compliance surveys of septic tanks in line with current regulations
• Diagnose and resolve drainage faults on site
• Deliver high-quality, professional service independently or as part of a team
• Communicate clearly with customers, providing updates and support

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Background in pump systems, drainage, or wastewater treatment
• Confident in pump installation and mechanical repair
• Familiarity with septic systems and drainage regulations
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional emergency call-outs

⭐ Desirable (not essential)

• Electrical qualifications (e.g. 17th/18th Edition, NICEIC)
• CSCS card and/or confined space training
• Understanding of pump control panels and telemetry systems
