St Austell Printing Company (SAPC) is a successful commercial and environmentally responsible printing company located in our sustainable, purpose built factory in St Austell. We offer a full range of in-house services including digital and litho printing, artwork and design, finishing and bindery, specialist finishing, mailing and fulfilment.
We take great pride in the quality of our work and the service we provide to our customers across Cornwall, South West and UK. We offer a wide range of print products, ranging from our print shop services including photocopying, plans, leaflets, posters and banners to large scale print projects of company brochures, folders, playing cards, greeting cards, point of sale and packaging.
We're looking for a proactive, customer focused Customer Service Assistant to join our busy Digital Print Shop. This role is ideal for someone with experience or a keen interest in digital print or design, with strong IT/ admin skills and a passion for delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities- The customer service assistant will support the design and digital print shop team with day-to-day tasks related to all types of digital printing and customer enquiries.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service and advice via phone, email and in person.
- Take payment and process orders using our MIS and till systems.
- Operate digital print machines and large format printers.
- Create and check artwork files for print readiness.
- Handle digital print production from estimate to delivery.
- Assist with finishing and bindery as needed.
- Experience in digital print or design software such as Adobe InDesign (preferred).
- Strong communication and organisation skills.
- Confidence using IT systems and managing multiple tasks.
- A team player with a positive, solution focused attitude.
