Senior Frontend Developer

Miller Maxwell is hiring on behalf of a top-tier trading firm in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-impact engineering team building next-generation trading UIs used directly on the trading floor.

You’ll work closely with Traders and Quants, delivering fast, scalable, and intuitive tools that support real-time decision-making in a high-performance environment.

📍 Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days in-office)

🧪 Interview Process: 2 stages, with at least one on-site interview required

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Develop and maintain high-performance UIs using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with Front Office users and backend engineers to deliver seamless, real-time user experiences.
• Translate complex trading workflows into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Optimise applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

✅ What You’ll Bring:

• 6+ years of commercial experience in frontend development
• Deep expertise in JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and GraphQL
• Experience with Python or other server-side programming languages is a strong plus
• Familiarity with modern front-end build tools and CI/CD pipelines
• AWS and/or Kafka highly beneficial experience.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
