The Role

  • Our client is seeking a Marketing Manager with 4+ years of experience to join their team full-time. The position offers significant opportunities for professional development, thanks to the fast-paced and dynamic nature of the business.
  • This hybrid role requires two days per week at the client’s central London office in Waterloo, with the remaining time working remotely.
  • The successful candidate will join a collaborative and engaged team embarking on ambitious growth plans within a supportive culture that rewards commitment and ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Analysis : Analyze marketing campaigns, report on metrics and trends, identify optimisation opportunities, and implement testing programs.
  • Annual Marketing Plans : Develop annual marketing plans for each established publication to achieve or exceed readership growth targets.
  • Digital Transformation Support : Contribute to the company’s digital strategy by analyzing customer engagement and behaviour data.
  • New Product Launches : Design and implement marketing strategies for new product launches.
  • Marketing Coordination :
  • Organise and schedule all marketing activities, managing up to 4-5 email campaigns daily, including newsletters, webinar promotions, and targeted content emails.
  • Plan social media strategies for LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter).
  • Monitor publication dates for client content, thematic issues, and individual items of content.
  • Quality Assurance : Perform final quality checks on marketing campaigns set up by the Marketing Executive, ensuring accuracy and appropriate scheduling.
  • Client Collaboration : Work directly with clients as needed, supporting their marketing efforts and providing performance reports for their campaigns.

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B marketing of technical/scientific content, products, or services is advantageous but not essential.
  • Proficiency in working with marketing databases, including creating data selects using keywords and codes.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate marketing performance and optimise initiatives.
  • Ability to identify the effectiveness and impact of marketing campaigns using tracking and data analysis.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with an acute attention to detail.
