As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex ICT systems and transformation projects. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders, applying best-practice methodologies including PRINCE2 and BSO’s Programme and Project Management standards to deliver successful, sustainable outcomes that support health and social care transformation across Northern Ireland.
Job Type: Temporary
35 per hour Umbrella or £29.20 per hour PAYE inclusive of holiday pay
5 hours per week / Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Project Leadership & Delivery- Lead and manage the delivery of high-value and complex ICT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget.
- Engage collaboratively with stakeholders and customers to assess business needs and define ICT strategies and implementation plans.
- Identify and evaluate innovative technology solutions that align with organizational goals and contribute to digital transformation.
- Oversee risk management, business case development, procurement planning, and implementation strategies.
- Maintain oversight of project lifecycle documentation, governance, compliance with PRINCE2, and BSO PPM standards.
- Coordinate with legal and procurement advisors on contract negotiations and delivery models.
- Track project performance using tools such as Project Vision and ensure transparent reporting via Highlight Reports, End-Stage Assessments, and Post-Project Evaluations.
- Manage project resources and administration, including financial forecasting and budgetary control of capital and revenue spend.
- Represent the project/programme in multi-agency forums, aligning deliverables with wider HSC or non-HSC initiatives.
A university degree/professional qualification and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a project management role within a major organisation; at least 5 years' relevant project management experience within a major organisation.
Proven experience leading an ICT project over £100,000 or managing a complex workstream within a project/programme.
Possession of a project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, or equivalent).
A full, valid UK driving licence and access to a car (reasonable adjustments made for applicants with a disability).
