We are seeking a dynamic individual who is outgoing and reliable to be our Lettings Assistant in Manchester. As a Lettings Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with property lettings and providing exceptional customer service to both tenants and landlords. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and maintaining property listings, ensuring all details are up to date and accurate.
  • Conduct property viewings for prospective tenants across multiple cities, including Hull, Nottingham, and Sheffield.
  • Liaise with landlords and tenants to arrange appointments, inspections, and property maintenance.
  • Assist in the preparation of tenancy agreements, contracts, and other documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Support with marketing rental properties through various channels, including online platforms and social media.
  • Help with tenant referencing and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Handle short-term let inquiries, including coordinating bookings, checking availability, and liaising with clients to ensure a smooth booking process.
  • Respond to queries regarding short-term let terms and conditions, ensuring clients and guests are provided with accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Assist with the maintenance of properties used for short-term lets, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Keep up to date with market trends, legislation affecting the lettings industry, and short-term letting regulations.

Key Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license.
  • Previous experience in the lettings or property industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with short-term lets or hospitality would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with tenants, landlords, and clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach to work.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations within the lettings industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude to work.
