Communications Audit UK Limited is a market leader in the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art radio and data communications systems based in the Cheltenham area. To support our continued expansion, we are looking for a software engineer to join our Spectra software engineering team in order to further enhance the company’s design and development capabilities. Spectra software performance is at the core of our products and services, enabling us to offer highly technical solutions to the user community. The evolution and development of this capability is key to our Company success. This role focuses on the development of the Spectra suite of applications in addition to system build and configuration. The successful candidate will play a key role in defining next generation radio monitoring software.

Requirements:
- Candidates must have a 2:1 degree or better in an engineering or numerical science discipline and 5+ years industry experience.
- Experience of C++ and development on Linux is essential.
- Experience of any of the following is desirable:
- Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
- Software Defined Radio (SDR)
- High performance computing (HPC)
- Audio processing
- Databases
- Qt
- Version control systems (e.g. Git or SVN)
