The Role:

  • Carry out both reactive and planned maintenance on a range of production machinery
  • Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime
  • Perform fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure equipment operates at optimum efficiency
  • Work closely with the Engineering Team Leader and production staff to ensure smooth operations

What We're Looking For:

  • Time-served or formally qualified engineer (NVQ Level 3, ONC, HNC or equivalent)
  • Multi-skilled, ideally with a good balance of mechanical and electrical experience
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or food production environment
  • Able to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern including days and nights
  • A proactive, team-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
