The Role:
- Carry out both reactive and planned maintenance on a range of production machinery
- Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime
- Perform fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure equipment operates at optimum efficiency
- Work closely with the Engineering Team Leader and production staff to ensure smooth operations
What We're Looking For:
- Time-served or formally qualified engineer (NVQ Level 3, ONC, HNC or equivalent)
- Multi-skilled, ideally with a good balance of mechanical and electrical experience
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or food production environment
- Able to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern including days and nights
- A proactive, team-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
