Manchester based with regular travel to Cyprus - 1 week per month.

The Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for 3 brands new to the agency, with a focus on growth. You will be looking at multiple directions for these brands, working across a number of attributes and collaborating with various teams. This International Digital Marketing Agency has enjoyed significant growth recently and is developing its offering across several areas of the business.

Reporting into the Social Media Team Lead, the Content Specialist will:

  • Assist teams and stakeholders in ensuring the execution of brand strategies.
  • Execute the brand content marketing strategies across the customer lifetime journey.
  • Collaborate with agencies to produce high-quality content and creative assets.
  • Write, edit and/or refine digital copy.
  • Deliver strong, engaging content to clients.
  • Plan content calendars with agencies.
  • Revise and optimise dated content using information gathered in SEO research.
  • Analyse web metrics for overall success of different content and develop plans to optimise them.
  • Create content distribution networks with other marketing verticals.
  • Perform audits on site usability, usefulness, content, and branding from a user perspective.
  • Publish digital content through a CMS.
  • Ensure content has a consistent tone of voice, visual communication style, and brand adherence across all touchpoints – working continuously within existing and expanding brand guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the latest content marketing trends.
  • Experience with content writing and ad copy writing.
  • Knowledge of SEO fundamentals, adhering to the latest Google algorithms.
  • Familiarity with how to distribute content through social media.
  • Video content ideation and execution.
  • Experience managing vendors.
  • Detailed reporting skills to demonstrate content ROI.
  • Ability to work within groups as well as autonomously.
  • Experience managing budgeting.

This role would suit someone looking to make an impact not only on their career but also on the development and growth of the clients/brands. It will require regular travel to Cyprus, 1 week per month for the foreseeable future to help drive the growth strategy for these newly acquired clients. This will be a non-negotiable and should be taken into consideration when applying for this role. The rest of the time you will split your time between their incredible Manchester offices and working from home.
