I am currently recruiting for an Assistant Production Manager to work for a leading engineering organisation based in London. Salary up to £39,000 with an OTE of £55,000 + Benefits.
The organisation are leaders within their field delivering world class products into a specialist market. They have a team of highly motivated individuals that are extremely driven and pride themselves on delivering their innovative portfolio of products and engineering expertise to clients across the globe.
In this role as Assistant Production Manager, you will be a key member of the Production Engineering Team, responsible for improving efficiency on both the shop floor and in back office. You will work to resolve issues as they arise by identifying and implementing effective solutions on the shop floor and will do so by liaising with various departments which could include design, procurement, sales as well as production. Additionally, you will use the ERP system to assist with scheduling, tracking, capacity planning, inventory management, and overall production planning.
Ideal Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years experience working as an Assistant Production Manager / Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer or similar
- Experience working in the Manufacturing industry
- Experience working with ERP systems
Desirable:
- Knowledge of CAD
- Knowledge of CNC, Welding, Sheet Metal or Fabrication
