You’d be joining a highly regarded Specialty team with a strong reputation, a national reach, and the kind of client list that reflects the calibre of the work — complex, high-value litigation, often at the forefront of developments in the industry.
It’s serious work, but the team isn’t. You’ll find a collaborative, down-to-earth culture where people support each other, knowledge is shared, and there’s a track record of genuine mentoring and progression (not just lip service during your review).

- Advising on liability and coverage issues (you’ll need experience in this)
- Liaising with a mix of clients, experts, witnesses and counsel
- Preparing technical reports, court documents, and updates for insurer clients
- Helping to develop junior colleagues and contribute to wider team success
What you’ll need:
- A solid 3+ years PQE (Solicitor / Legal Executive) with a real interest (and experience) in defending construction professionals
- A working knowledge of insurance litigation, policy coverage, and the inner workings of insurers
- An analytical, commercial mind and an appetite for quality work
- Excellent comms skills (for clients and colleagues)

- £45,000–£57,000 salary depending on experience
- 28 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- Private healthcare (fully funded after probation)
- Health cash plan and life assurance from day one
- Group pension scheme (employer contributions rising after 6 months)
- Hybrid
- Life Insurance
- Discretionary bonus structure
- Income Protection Scheme: designed to help provide financial protection for you if you are unfortunate enough to become ‘incapacitated’ for 26 weeks or more.
