Senior C# Software Engineer (Regulatory Reporting) – Commodities Trading – London – up to £800/day

Cititec has partnered with a leading commodities trading firm seeking a Senior C# Software Engineer to join their dynamic, growing regulatory reporting function. In this role, you\’ll play a pivotal part in leading major change projects across their Gas and Power business, covering EMIR Refit and MiFID II.

This is a deeply technical position, with the majority of your focus dedicated to regulatory transformation efforts. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you\’ll help to build robust solutions in order to deliver accurate, compliant reporting systems.

Experience required

  • Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting (e.g. EMIR, MiFID or similar frameworks)
  • Exposure working in Gas and Power trading environments
  • Strong background C# .NET development
  • Familiarity with end-to-end transaction reporting processes (UTIs, eligibility checks, report submissions)
  • To be able to build and maintain Oracle SQL / C# applications for regulatory change programs
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
