A globally recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Production department with the appointment of a Shift Manager to work a three shift pattern (6am – 2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am).
As Shift Manager you will be responsible for supervision of production on site, ensuring a safe working environment and satisfying all customer demands.
Responsibilities:- Guarantee a safe working environment.
- Ensure all production processes conform to current quality standards.
- Manufacture quality parts in time to satisfy customer demand.
- Improve production processes and lead improvement teams.
- Lead root cause analysis of non-conforming production and implement corrective actions.
- Daily organisation of Team Leaders and Operators.
- Complete performance reviews to improve team performance and flexibility.
- Lead team performance via KPI’s and OEE to achieve targets.
- Out of hours contact with Customers.
- Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant and adhere to all Health and Safety environmental requirements.
- Management experience in the automotive sector (or any other manufacturing sector).
- ILM Level 3 Management.
- Knowledge of 5s.
