We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor based in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a range of high-profile projects, leading commercial activities on large schemes across the South West region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial management of large or multiple projects
- Prepare tenders, detailed cost plans, and procurement strategies
- Manage subcontractor procurement, payments (including CIS), and final accounts
- Produce accurate monthly cost and value reports
- Procure major works subcontract packages
- Successfully manage and complete final accounts
- Undertake value engineering exercises to maximise project value
- Provide support in resolving commercial disputes and claims, with a sound understanding of dispute procedures
- Oversee project budgets, identify risks and opportunities, and drive profitability
- Collaborate closely with project management, client teams, and supply chain to ensure successful delivery
About You:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor on large construction schemes
- Ability to produce accurate and detailed monthly cost/value reports and forecasts
- Extensive experience of successfully completing final accounts
- Solid knowledge of NEC forms of contract
- Experience of procuring and managing major subcontract packages
- Awareness and understanding of commercial dispute resolution
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, or working towards professional accreditation
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and commercial management skills
