The predicted salary is between 28800 - 42000 £ per year.
The ideal candidate would be based in the local area and should have a sound knowledge of the industry. They should also have the desire to develop and support existing business along with a major focus in generating new business. A knowledge of the customer base, in particular the area would be an advantage but not essential & we would provide ongoing training to further the successful candidate’s development. We see this as an exciting opportunity and would involve hybrid working between office & customer visits. Responsibilities of the role would include: Being highly motivated with demonstrable success in sales. Excellent communication skills. Being able to travel to visit customers and the depot as required. Great IT skills & ability to communicate effectively using digital formats. Market awareness to understand pricing strategy and margins. Supporting the Timber Manager in day-to-day trading activities. Proactively sourcing new business & working as part of a team to achieve goals. Account Management. An understanding of the development of digital trading.
